How does Christina Lauren constantly come up with the most creative, romantic stories EVERY SINGLE TIME? Soulmate Equation is just deliciously entertaining! By far, my favorite book this year. I literally laughed out loud all thru this fabulously fun tale – like spit my seltzer out while reading on the beach!
Jess is a frazzled statistician and single mom – just trying to get by while nurturing her precious seven-year-old daughter, Juno. Dr. River Pena is genius entrepreneur who has come up with this outlandish dating app based on a couple’s genetic compatibility. How cool is that? Jess has ogled River (coffee bean fave nicknamed Americano) for the last few years from her remote coffee house perch. Learning of his unique dating app, she finally approaches him on his daily coffee run by her desk. Of course, he comes off as a standoffish intellectual jerk.
Jess’s desk mate bestie, Fizzy is a hoot – this girlfriend has some of the best one-liners as she is writing her latest romance novel gaining all sorts of content from this Jess and River dynamic. Fizzy coerces Jess to head over to Americano’s GeneticAlly corporate offices to get the scoop on his biz. Having a frustrating day, Jess spits in the vile and sends off her DNA and forgets about it.
You can guess what happens to our hero and heroine – but I am not going to spoil it for you! This is an absolute must read romance! Soulmate Equation is another hilarious homerun for our authorettes Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings and I loved it so much that I read it twice! Take it to the beach and have some LOL fun in the sun!
